Five steps to follow

  2. Complete the clinical evaluation

    A licensed clinician independently evaluates your circumstances and determines whether to issue a certification.

  3. Prepare and review the application

    After a favorable certification decision, staff can help identify required documents and prepare the patient application. You review the information and complete the required authorization.

  4. Follow the state instructions

    Illinois reviews the application and controls its decision and timing. Use the status and access instructions in the official patient account.

  5. Keep the registration current

    Ask for help understanding follow up and renewal steps. Keep your account access and registration details available.

How long does state processing take?

Is medical cannabis sold here?
